The Rev. Leslie Nesin was born in Dayton, OH, and grew up in an Air Force family. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and spent nearly 30 years as an RN, ending up at PVH in Lincoln. In 1986, she married Dr. Bourcard Nesin and moved to Howland. Following his death, she received a Bachelor of University Studies from the University of Maine continuing on at The Bangor Theological Seminary where she received a Master of Divinity Degree in 2002 becoming ordained in 2003. She has served at St. Martin’s Church in Palmyra and then at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Houlton for seven years. Since her ordination, she has enjoyed supply work at the Cluster, Calais, Old Town, and Winn. Leslie enjoys spending time with her extended family, cooking, gardening, reading, and working with her beautiful and loving therapy dog, Duchess.
